HALLOWEEN DRESS CODE

Masks

Halloween Masks

If we can’t see your face, you’re not going to get in. Full-face Halloween masks are strictly prohibited. Masquerade-style masks are acceptable, but we will ask you to take it off when you pass through security or we check your ID.

Face Paint or Latex Prosthetics

Halloween Face paint

Small amounts of face paint are acceptable, like a kitty nose and whiskers. If you are recognizable to security and staff, a small amount will be okay. We know you can do an awesome makeup job, but you’ll have to keep it subtle if you want to get into the club. If your face is obscured by the amount of paint and/or prosthetics, we will not let you in. Security must be able to match your face to the picture on your ID.

Wigs

Wigs are awesome and they’re acceptable! But be prepared to take it off upon entry if needed. Security may ask to see you without it when they check your ID. So don’t pin it on too intricately, this is a night for a quick pin job so you can take it on and off easily!

Clothing

All costumes are welcomed as long as they aren’t offensive, rude or bullying in nature to other guests. PLEASE – No offensive or culturally insensitive costumes. No costumes suggesting or promoting illegal narcotics. Guests may not wear costumes that indicate they are security or law enforcement.

We all know people use Halloween as an excuse to wear more revealing clothing or forgo clothing altogether. However, clothing is never optional at Jilly’s. The phrase “No shirt, no shoes: no service” still applies.

Nightclubs are subject to health codes; guests may not show up in an outfit that is simply body paint or without shoes. Save the pasties because no guest may be topless (or bottomless). At a bare minimum, ladies must have on a crop top. Fellas, this applies to you too: no pasties or body paint in lieu of a shirt.

Accessories and Props

Toy weapons (or real weapons for that matter) are prohibited. Staffs also count as “toy weapons” and are not allowed in the club. Basically, anything that could be used to poke or prod people is banned (including things like golf clubs, fishing poles, umbrellas ….). Obviously, all toy guns, knives, swords, ninja weapons, and any other fake weapon are strictly prohibited. We also prohibit any fake drugs or fake drug paraphernalia, even if it goes with your costume.

We want you to have a great Halloween! It’s not fun to have rules and restrictions on a costume holiday, but hopefully, this guide helps you come up with an amazing costume that you can wear anywhere. Have fun boys and ghouls!
