THE BASICS: Jilly’s Music Room (est. 2013) is a live music and entertainment venue located in the Northside District of downtown Akron, Ohio. We feature original bands (local/regional/national) in a variety of genres, including: Blues, R&B, Rock, Indie, Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Americana, and Alt-Country, stand-up comedy and other entertainment at least four nights a week. Sophisticated without being pretentious, Jilly’s has a full-service kitchen offering an eclectic, 100% gluten free small plates menu and weekend brunch, table service, craft cocktails, more than 100 beers, a plethora of AF options, state of the art sound and light system, professional engineering and production staff, and exceptional service. OUR PHONE: We cannot emphasize this enough: It is a voicemail and information line only. No one ever answers it. We do our best to check messages daily between 9AM and 5PM and will call or text you back. If you call after 5PM, your message will not be picked up until the following morning. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Jilly’s offers live music & entertainment at least 4 nights a week! Weeknight bands/entertainers typically perform between 7 and 10PM. Friday and Saturday performances are 8PM-Midnight, unless otherwise noted. Check our Calendar for exact times, cover and ticket information, special events, and Happy Hour entertainment.
COVID-19: CAUTION: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. For the safety of our employees, performers and guests, we encourage all non-vaccinated persons to continue to wear their masks. And, if you are not feeling well, please stay home. By visiting Jilly’s Music Room you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Yes – Friday and Saturday | one drink minimum weeknights – unless otherwise noted. Bands and performers receive 100% of the cover collected and online pre-sales. Please refer to specific event information here: EVENT CALENDAR.
WALK-UPS are welcome!! You don’t need to have tickets to come have fun! If there’s a cover you can pay at the door. Cover will be noted on the EVENT CALENDAR listing for that event. If seating is still available (see RESERVATIONS below), it will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis (FCFS).
WANT A COCKTAIL, BUT NOT STAYING FOR THE SHOW? If you plan to arrive before 7PM and you’d just like a cocktail or two and some food, and plan to leave before the music starts, you will not need to pay the cover charge. If you have a change of heart and decide to stay, we can add it to your tab.
TICKETS/RESERVATIONS: Guaranteed table seating on weekends is available through pre-paid online ticket purchases only. Our platform is FEE FREE! You only pay the cost of the ticket. To purchase a reserved-seat ticket, please visit the ticketing link associated with the event you’d like to attend.
Our online system allows guests to choose their own table or bar seat. Online presales end at 2PM day of show. This does not mean we’re sold out. We have plenty of room for walk-ins. Any remaining seats are first come, first served (FCFS).
To reserve a seat, you must pre-pay by buying a ticket. Table reservations will be relinquished 20 minutes after the show’s advertised start time. All sales are final. We do not take reservations by phone, email, or DMs.
NO REFUNDS EXCEPT IN THE EVENT OF A SHOW CANCELLATION.
All booking is done by email. Please send your EPK to booking@jillysmusicroom.com. If you do not have an EPK, please include links to your website, social accounts and YouTube videos in your email, along with a current photo and current schedule of gigs. If we think that you/your band is a good fit for the club and we have available dates or time slots, we will contact you.

Compensation is negotiated at time of booking. We do not take a cut of your merch sales. Food and beverage comps are provided to each band member. Touring bands should partner with a local band and/or have a strong connection to the area. We expect you to promote your show and to do your part to help fill the room. Professional sound, video, lighting, engineers and production staff are provided by the club. Unless agreed otherwise, performances may also be streamed on jillysmusicroom.live.

FULL-SERVICE BAR: Craft and Signature cocktails, more than 100 beers, a fine wine selection, extensive selection of Mocktails (non-alcoholic specialty cocktails), AF beers and wine, hop waters, CBD beverages, botanicals and and other NA options.

TABLE SERVICE: Yes! We have an excellent, award-winning staff. They are happy to help, committed to providing the best service and to ensuring that you have a great time! Food and beverage is served before, during and after shows.
MENUS: Jilly's American Tapas & Brunch Menus. We make everything from scratch, to order, in house, with fresh, and as often as possible, locally-sourced ingredients. Really. Our kitchen is and always has been 100% gluten free.
WEEKEND BRUNCH: 11AM – 3PM Saturdays & Sundays. Reservations are not required but appreciated. Walk-ups are always welcome, and seating is FCFS. To make a reservation for brunch, please email info@jillysmusicroom.com with your name, date and time you’ll be joining us, the number of people in your party and your phone number. Please do make a reservation if you are part of a large group (6+ people).
Before you head out, please check our EVENT CALENDAR or social accounts. We host SPECIAL BRUNCH EVENT’S once, twice, maybe a few times a month. These brunches feature entertainment and a hearty buffet brunch and require a ticket purchase – some are fundraising events for community organizations. We do not serve from our regular brunch menu during these events. For reservations for a SPECIAL EVENT BRUNCH, you’ll find a link in the information for that event on our EVENT CALENDAR. A typical brunch buffet offers Fresh Ohio Scrambled Eggs, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Sausage Links, Hashbrowns, Fresh Seasonal Fruit Platter, and a Waffle Bar with Sweet & Savory Toppings. If the date you’d like to come for brunch IS NOT listed on the event calendar (with a show or as closed for a holiday) – we are serving regular brunch 11AM-3PM.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE ALLOWED. If you have the audacity to smuggle your own alcohol into the club, you will be escorted out and banned from returning.
Jilly’s prefers cash. We retain 100% of its value and avoid bank processing fees. We also accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Checks are not accepted (except for private parties or events). There is a 3% surcharge on credit (not debit) sales to help offset processing fees. Cash sales are discounted 3.5%. The nearest ATM is located in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Akron – across the street.
To provide the best customer satisfaction, we provide the following solutions. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the Return & Refund Policy by emailing us at info@jillysmusicroom.com. For take-out customers, preparation of your order begins immediately after your order has been confirmed. We cannot accept cancellations once we have confirmed your order by text message or email.
FOOD ORDER ERRORS: If you receive food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please check your order before leaving. If you decide to return the item please keep in mind:
- Only missing or wrong items can be refunded, we will not refund any other items in your order if they are made as per request.
- In order to receive a refund items must be returned to your server, or if takeout, in its original container and without any signs that 25% or more of the food has been consumed or removed from original packaging. If the food has been discarded, repackaged or tampered with in a way we cannot verify its origin or issue, we will not issue any discount, refund or store credit.
- You will be refunded to your credit card the sales price amount associated with the error, please keep in mind that your refund might take up to 3 business days to be processed.
FOOD ORDER INCOMPLETE: In the rare occasion that you do not receive food that is on your receipt, we will make it up to you. Please check your order before leaving. You may cancel the missed food before we prepare it without any question, and we will refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit. No cash refunds.
FOOD DISSATISFACTION: We cook our food fresh to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We take great care and pride in everything we make. We love to hear your feedback in order to better our meals, service and experience. However, keep in mind that we will not refund any items on the basis of dissatisfaction. We might be able to change your item if it’s the same or of lesser value. This will be done at the discretion of the staff manager.
ORDER CANCELLATION: We cannot cancel, refund or give credit if you change your mind or mistakenly order an item, after the order is prepared.
PLEASE NOTE: we strive to prepare and package our pick up items to preserve the high quality of the food. Keep in mind the temperature, sauce, and consistency of some items may vary slightly after being packaged.

We LOVE that you want to expose your kids to live music! We welcome them when accompanied by a responsible adult. We check IDs using the latest information and technology. There is an additional $2 charge for anyone Under 21 and identifying wristbands will be supplied that must be worn at all times while inside the venue.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an adult environment. Children under the age of 15 must be seated and supervised and may not wander throughout the facility unaccompanied – this includes trips to the bathroom. We have zero tolerance for climbing or standing on top of the furniture. If you bring your children to the club, you must be willing to supervise them, and they must know how to behave in an adult atmosphere and show respect to other guests, performers and staff. If you are unable or unwilling to control your children, your tab will be closed and you will be escorted from the venue. If you are bringing very young children to hear music, we strongly suggest they have ear protection. Guests under 21 may not sit at the bar and guests under the age of 18 must leave the premises by 10PM. Regardless of parent or guardian presence, persons under 21 may not consume alcohol. Immediate expulsion from the venue will result for minors caught drinking. In severe cases the proper authorities will be contacted if resistance arises.

- Skateboards, scooters, bikes, etc.
- Chains or jewelry with spiked edges
- Strollers
- Musical instruments and instrument cases (unless you are participating in a designated Open Jam night)
- Please do come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy a fun-filled night of music and dancing!
Please review our safety and security information prior to arriving at the venue.
- Please arrive early to the venue to allow enough time for you and your guests to move through the queue and enter the venue.
- Prior to entering, guests may pass through a security station with wand metal detection.to ensure the safety of everyone in the venue.
- Please leave valuable and unnecessary items at home.
- You may be asked to empty your pockets of all items so that they can be examined.
- All alcohol and narcotic laws will be strictly enforced.
- You will be asked to open your bag for a visual check and all bags must adhere to our bag policy. Only the following bags are allowed:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (Maximum size: 12″x6″x12″)
- Small clutch, shoulder or crossbody bags approximately the size of a hand (Maximum size: 4.5″ x 6.5″)
